Howden Team Up With Featherstone's
Local Howden butcher Rob Featherstone's Butchers (Howden) will be sponsoring Howden's playing kit for the 2004/05 season as the Blues needed new kit as their Prostar and Boothferry Carpets kit deal became outdated.
Featherstone agreed to sponsor the Blues in July 2004, after manager Tony Ellerington and keeper Danny Wright worked extremely to hard to conjure up a deal. Featherstone Butchers have therefore agreed to fund the new kit, and in return will receive local media coverage and their logo printed on Howden's new kit for the 2004/05 season.
The kit will be supplied by German manufacturer Uhlsport, and will be sporting a traditional Howden blue and white combination with a silver goalkeeper kit. Howden will be distinctive yet original in their kit choice, so the Blues will be recognised easily when playing and on their travels.
The deal will be finalised at the end of July, with no rush between Howden and Featherstone's to complete to deal, however it is certain to two parties will be associated by the time of the new season.
Howden Juniors AFC Under 15 extends its thanks to Rob and his company for ending a baron spell in terms of sponsorship, and we hope to repay him with quality exposure and a winning team he can be proud of.
